Every piece we create begins with responsibly sourced wood. We work only with partners who follow sustainable forestry practices, ensuring that your furniture not only looks good but also does good.
100% Solid Wood, Always
Our entire collection is made from premium, 100% solid wood — no compromises. Choose from timeless varieties like Solid Indian Rosewood, Teak, Acacia, Mango, and Mahogany. Each piece is handcrafted to showcase the unique character and natural grain of the wood.
Zero Engineered Wood. Zero Veneer.
We never use MDF, veneer, or engineered wood in any part of the furniture itself — and never will. If you ever find otherwise in the main product, we’ll refund double the item price. (Please note: this guarantee applies to the furniture itself, not to packing materials or protective elements used during shipping.)
Minimal Metal, Maximum Integrity

At The Rural Art, every piece is handcrafted with patience, love, and attention to detail — and we want your delivery experience to reflect that same care.

Standard Shipping: Since most of our furniture is made to order by skilled artisans, we kindly ask you to allow 8–10 weeks for standard orders and 10–12 weeks for custom pieces. These are estimated timelines, and while we do our best to stay on schedule, a little flexibility allows us to ensure your piece turns out just right.
Priority Shipping (Air Shipped – Extra Cost): If you're working with a tighter timeline, we offer Priority Shipping on select products. This option ships your order via air and can deliver within 4–6 weeks at an additional cost. Please note that custom or oversized items may not qualify for this service — but we’re always happy to check for you.
White Glove Delivery – Because You Deserve Comfort: Solid wood furniture is not only beautiful but also substantial. To make receiving your piece as effortless as possible, we offer White Glove Delivery at checkout. This includes delivery to your room of choice, unpacking, and cleanup — all handled with care. We truly recommend this option, especially for heavier pieces like beds, which can weigh over 250 lbs.

Care Instructions – Crafted to Last, Cared for with Love: At The Rural Art, we believe that caring for your furniture should feel as natural as the wood it’s made from. Here’s how to keep your piece looking beautiful for years to come — using gentle, eco-friendly methods.
Everyday Cleaning:
- Use a soft, dry cloth or microfiber cloth to gently dust your furniture.
- Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or sprays — they can damage the wood’s natural finish and often come in plastic packaging that isn’t eco-friendly.
- For a little extra shine, use a natural wood polish made with orange oil. Apply sparingly and buff with a dry cloth to refresh the surface and highlight the grain.
Wood-Specific Care Tips:
- Teak Wood:
  - Teak contains natural oils, but occasional treatment helps retain its golden tone.
  - Use teak oil every 6–12 months. Apply with a cloth, let it soak in, then buff off any excess.
  - Avoid placing in direct sunlight for long periods to prevent uneven fading.
- Indian Rosewood (Sheesham):
  - Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
  - Condition occasionally with linseed oil or orange oil.
  - Re-oil once or twice a year to prevent drying or dullness.
- Acacia Wood:
  - Clean regularly with a dry cloth.
  - Apply walnut oil or mineral oil a few times a year to maintain warmth.
  - Avoid soaking or letting spills sit to prevent water spots.
- Mango Wood:
  - Wipe clean regularly.
  - Condition with a light coat of orange oil or coconut oil to bring out its natural glow.
  - Avoid placing hot or wet items directly on the surface.
Drawer Channel Care:
- Dust inside drawer channels every few months.
- Apply a small amount of coconut oil or beeswax to keep the drawer movement smooth and silent.
