WARRANTY COVERAGE
Warranty coverage varies per product. All damages and defects must be reported within 14 days of delivery. Warranty coverage is available within the 48 contiguous states. The original purchaser is the only person covered under the warranty. Rugs, accessories, home decor and clearance items are excluded from warranty coverage.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Company and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive damages arising from use of the website, inability to use the website, product delays, freight delays, custom delays, delivery issues, incorrect shipping information, misuse, improper care, failure to review policies, customer measurement errors, or the purchase or use of any product. This limitation includes without limitation loss of profits, project delays, storage costs, loss of use. Our maximum liability for any claim relating to a product or order shall not exceed the amount actually paid for the applicable order.

CUSTOM & MADE-TO-ORDER DISCLAIMER
All furniture is custom and / or made-to-order. Each item is produced specifically for the customer after purchase and customized by the customer. Production begins after the order is placed and materials, artisan labor, sourcing, freight coordination, and export preparation begin immediately. Due to the custom nature of these products, all custom and made to order sales are final. Customers may request cancellation within twenty-four- (24) hours of purchase only. Once production begins after 24 hours, cancellations are not permitted, changes are not possible, and refunds, returns ore exchanges are not available.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Customers may request cancellation within twenty-four- (24) hours of purchase only. After the 24 hour grace period, no cancellations, refunds, returns, exchanges, modifications or chargebacks will be accepted for any reason. Custom furniture cannot be cancelled, changed, returned, exchanged, or refunded due to buyer’s remorse, change of mind, delays with production or shipping timeline, project or renovation delays, moving or relocation, style preference, failure to measure, color variation, dissatisfaction arising after production has begun or the customer’s inability to accept delivery.
REFUND POLICY
Custom and made-to-order furniture will be final sale and non-refundable after the 24-hour cancellation period. If a refund is approved for an eligible ready to ship item, original shipping, freight, white glove delivery and special handling fees are non-refundable. Refused deliveries do not qualify for refunds. Customers remain responsible for all return freight, storage, redelivery and carrier related fees.
If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with
1) Your order number
2) Description of the issue
3) Clear photos or videos of the item, packaging and damage.
Claims submitted after 48 hours or without sufficient documentation may be denied. Chargebacks filed for matters covered by these terms may be disputed within proof of policy, acceptance, production records and shipment documentation.
Return Policy Request Procedure
● To initiate a return contact us at info@theruralart.com within 30 days of receiving the product.
● Provide your order number, details of the product, and clear photos showing the condition of the item and packaging.
● Our support team will review the request and provide written confirmation and further instructions if the return is approved.
● Unauthorized returns or items sent back without our written approval will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense.
If return request is approved, Company may offer the resolution of a replacement item, repair, store credit or refund of the product value only. If a refund is approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe, less applicable shipping charges, special handling fees or non recoverable production expenses. Any product damaged during return transit due to poor packaging will not be eligible for refund or replacement. By placing an order, you agree to these policies. We reserve the right to deny refunds that do not comply with this policy.
RETURN POLICY
All custom and made-to-order furniture is final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Ready to ship items may qualify for return if the Company is contacted within 30 days of delivery and the return request is approved in writing. The item must be unused, undamaged and returned in original packing. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
RESTOCKING FEE
If return is accepted, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. A 25% restocking fee will be applied to all eligible returns.
LONG LEAD TIME DISCLAIMER
Customer understand and agree that custom furniture imported to the United States requires an extended lead time for final delivery. Estimated delivery depends on your selected delivery service, but this is only an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date. Delays may occur due to artisan production schedules, material availability, customs processing, port congestion, freight carrier delays, weather, holidays, inspections, customs holds, or other conditions outside the company’s control.
NATURAL MATERIALS & WOOD VARIATION DISCLAIMER
Our pieces are handcrafted, hand-carved, hand-finished, made with natural materials such as wood, therefore, variations are expected. These may include differences in wood grain, tone, texture, distressing, carving, paint, finish, imperfections, marks, cracks, and minor measurement variations. Natural wood products may shift, expand, or contract over time due to environmental conditions. The variations are not considered defects.
MEASUREMENT DISCLAIMER
Customer is responsible for reviewing all measurements before purchase and confirming that the item will fit through all doors, elevators, hallways, staircases, rooms, delivery paths, and final placement areas. Customer’s failure to measure properly is not a basis for cancellation, return, refund, chargeback, or refusal of delivery. Additional charges may apply for requested changes or revisions.
CUSTOM COLOR AND FINISH DISCLAIMER
Exact color matching cannot be guaranteed due to natural wood changes, lighting condition, computer and mobile screen settings, environmental factors.
SHIPPING + DELIVERY DISCLAIMER
Delivery depends on your selected and preferred delivery service. Standard delivery may include delivery to the customer’s address, curbside, threshold delivery, or standard freight delivery depending on the order and carrier. Customer is solely responsible for ensuring accessible delivery conditions, confirming adequate space, securing elevator reservations and coordinating building access. Additional fees may apply for re-delivery, storage, special handling
SPECIAL HANDLING DISCLAIMER
Standard delivery may include delivery to the customer’s address, curbside, threshold delivery, or standard freight delivery depending on the order and carrier. Special handling is not included unless expressly stated in writing. Special handling may include inside home delivery, white glove delivery, stair carry, elevator coordination, narrow-access delivery, hoisting, assembly, appointment-specific delivery, or delivery requiring additional labor or equipment. If special handling is required, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for it directly, unless the Company agrees otherwise in writing. Special handling is not included unless expressly stated in writing.
DISCLAIMER OF FURNITURE LIABILITY
Company and its affiliates are not responsible for damage, injury, or accidents resulting from improper assembly, failure to anchor furniture, misuse, neglect, improper weight limits, exceeding weight limits, unauthorized modifications or failure to follow these guidelines. By purchasing and using our products, customers acknowledge responsibility for proper installation, maintenance, and safe use of the furniture.
IMPORTANT CARE DISCLAIMER
Damage caused by improper care, misuse, neglect, exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, improper cleaning products, pets, commercial use, or failure to follow these guidelines is not covered under any warranty or policy. DAMAGE INSPECTION REQUIREMENT POLICY
The customer must inspect the furniture immediately upon delivery. If the item arrives visibly damaged the customer must note the damage, photograph, document and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to report damage within 48 hours of delivery may limit our ability to offer a repair, replacement or other resolution. Damage caused by customer handling, improper handling, moving, storage, assembly or failure to follow instructions is not covered.
