At The Rural Art, we are committed to delivering premium, handcrafted solid wood furniture made with care and precision. While we take every precaution to ensure product quality, certain conditions may warrant a refund or return. Please carefully review the terms of our Refund Policy below.
1. Refunds & Replacements for Damaged or Incorrect Products
We conduct thorough quality checks before dispatch. However, in the rare event that you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered product, please note the following:
Eligibility Criteria:

You must report the issue within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@theruralart.com.

Your claim must include:

A detailed description of the issue

Clear, time-stamped photographs or videos taken at the time of delivery, showing the damage and original packaging

Claims without adequate visual proof or submitted after 48 hours will not be accepted.
Resolution Process:

If the issue is verified and approved at our sole discretion, we may offer:

A replacement of the affected product, or
-
A refund of the product’s value (excluding shipping/customization charges)

The item must be returned unused and in its original packaging.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Products damaged during return transit due to poor packaging will not be eligible for refund or replacement.
2. 365-Day Return Policy (Standard Products Only)
To ensure customer satisfaction, we offer a 365-day return option for select standard products. Please note the following terms:
Eligibility Criteria:

Only standard, non-customized, and non-made-to-order items are eligible.

The product must be:

Unused
-
Unopened
-
In its original, undamaged packaging

Products that are opened, used, assembled, or handled will not be accepted under this policy.
Return Terms:

Return requests must be submitted to info@theruralart.com with the original order number.

Upon approval, the customer is responsible for arranging return shipping to the address provided.

A restocking fee of 25% of the product’s value will be deducted from the refund.

Shipping, handling, and customization charges are non-refundable.

The Rural Art reserves the right to reject any return that does not meet the above criteria.
3. Exclusions & Limitations

Custom-made or made-to-order products are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases of confirmed damage or defect (see Section 1).

No claims will be entertained beyond 48 hours from the time of delivery for damage-related issues.

Products purchased under final sale, clearance, or promotional offers are not eligible for return.

The Rural Art shall not be liable for:

Damage resulting from misuse, mishandling, or improper care

Natural wood characteristics such as variations in grain, texture, or minor movement due to humidity

Delays or failure in delivery due to circumstances beyond our control

4. Acknowledgement
By placing an order with The Rural Art, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this Refund Policy. The Rural Art reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
