At The Rural Art and its parent company Swa Kustom LLC, we are committed to delivering handcrafted, made-to-order furniture of the highest quality. To ensure a transparent and fair shopping experience, we ask all customers to carefully review the following responsibilities before placing an order.
1. Verification of Product Specifications
It is the customer’s sole responsibility to verify and confirm all product details prior to purchase, including but not limited to:
- Measurements, dimensions, and scale of the product
- Custom sizes, design modifications, and structural adjustments
- Wood type, finish, shade variations, and natural grain characteristics
- Images, renders, sketches, or mock-ups provided for reference
Customers must ensure the product fits their intended space, aesthetic expectations, and functional needs. Any issue arising from incorrect measurements or misunderstanding of customization details shall not be considered the liability of The Rural Art or Swa Kustom LLC.
2. Review of Pricing, Offers, and Discounts
Customers are responsible for confirming the following before completing a purchase:
- Pricing listed at the time of checkout
- Eligibility for promotional codes, tier-based discounts, or seasonal offers
- Awareness of expiration dates and conditions of each promotion
Pricing adjustments will not be made after an order is placed unless explicitly stated under a specific promotional policy.
3. Understanding of Shipping & Delivery Terms
All customers must acknowledge that:

- Standard, Priority, and White-Glove Shipping services each come with unique conditions
- Delivery timelines may shift due to transit delays, customs, weather, logistics, or global disruptions
- Customers are responsible for ensuring accessibility to the delivery location and for being available to receive the shipment
Any delivery-related issue resulting from customer unavailability, address errors, or failure to follow delivery instructions is not the responsibility of The Rural Art or Swa Kustom LLC.
4. Awareness of Warranty, Care & Material Nature
Customers must review and understand:
- Warranty details associated with the purchase
- Care and maintenance guidelines for solid wood items
- The natural properties of wood, including minor grain, texture, and color variations
These natural variations are not defects and will not qualify for claims or liability.
5. Acknowledgment of Cancellation, Return & Refund Policies
Before completing a purchase, customers must read and understand the policies regarding:
- Cancellation timelines and applicable fees
- Whether an order is eligible for cancellation once production begins or once the item is in transit
- Non-returnable conditions for custom-made pieces
- Restocking fees or service charges where applicable
Failure to review these policies does not constitute liability for The Rural Art or Swa Kustom LLC.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Rural Art and Swa Kustom LLC shall not be held liable for:
- Customer negligence, oversight, or misunderstanding of product specifications
- Errors resulting from incorrect addresses, measurements, or customization inputs provided by the customer
- Issues arising from failure to review checkout details, email communication, or policy documents
- Dissatisfaction caused by not verifying shade, grain, texture, finish, or material characteristics

7. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have:

- Understood their responsibilities as a customer
- Accepted the policies and terms outlined above
