Sustainably Sourced Wood
Every piece we create begins with responsibly sourced wood. We work only with partners who follow sustainable forestry practices, ensuring that your furniture not only looks good but also does good.
100% Solid Wood, Always
Our entire collection is made from premium, 100% solid wood — no compromises. Choose from timeless varieties like Solid Indian Rosewood, Teak, Acacia, Mango, and Mahogany. Each piece is handcrafted to showcase the unique character and natural grain of the wood.
Zero Engineered Wood. Zero Veneer.
We never use MDF, veneer, or engineered wood in any part of the furniture itself — and never will. If you ever find otherwise in the main product, we'll refund double the item price. (Please note: this guarantee applies to the furniture itself, not to packing materials or protective elements used during shipping.)
Minimal Metal, Maximum Integrity
We stay true to traditional craftsmanship. Metal is only used where necessary for structure or function — never as a substitute for quality.
Our Guarantee
We're proud of what we build. Solid. Honest. Lasting. That's The Rural Art way.

Shipping & Delivery

At The Rural Art, every piece is handcrafted with patience, love, and attention to detail — and we want your delivery experience to reflect that same care.

Standard Shipping: Since most of our furniture is made to order by skilled artisans, we kindly ask you to allow 8–10 weeks for standard orders and 10–12 weeks for custom pieces. These are estimated timelines, and while we do our best to stay on schedule, a little flexibility allows us to ensure your piece turns out just right.
Priority Shipping (Air Shipped – Extra Cost): If you're working with a tighter timeline, we offer Priority Shipping on select products. This option ships your order via air and can deliver within 4–6 weeks at an additional cost. Please note that custom or oversized items may not qualify for this service — but we’re always happy to check for you.
White Glove Delivery – Because You Deserve Comfort: Solid wood furniture is not only beautiful but also substantial. To make receiving your piece as effortless as possible, we offer White Glove Delivery at checkout. This includes delivery to your room of choice, unpacking, and cleanup — all handled with care. We truly recommend this option, especially for heavier pieces like beds, which can weigh over 250 lbs.
Your Experience Matters Most: We’re here to make your journey with us smooth from start to finish. Whatever shipping option you choose, we’ll keep you updated every step of the way — with a real team ready to assist if you need us.
A Note on Unexpected Delays: While we always strive to honor your timeline with utmost precision, there are rare moments when global circumstances — such as sudden geopolitical events, port congestion, or unforeseen trade policy shifts — may temporarily affect transit schedules. In such situations, we remain fully committed to keeping you informed with complete transparency and offering our support every step of the way. As your piece has already been crafted, packed, and is currently in transit, cancellations are not permitted at this stage. Should you still choose to cancel, please note that a 100% cancellation fee will apply, as all artisan, material, and logistics costs have already been incurred.

Disclaimer

Please note that the actual product may vary slightly from the images shown due to the natural characteristics of real wood, including grain patterns, knots, and shade variations. Colors may also appear different depending on your screen, monitor, phone display, lighting, and photography.
Handcrafted with Love & Intention: At The Rural Art, every piece is handcrafted with love and intention by our skilled artisans — made from nature, and made just for you.
Natural Materials, One-of-a-Kind Results: Because we use 100% solid wood along with natural stones like marble and quartz, please know that slight variations are not just expected — they are what make your piece truly one of a kind.
For Wood Products:
- The images shown on our website are close representations, but due to the natural variation in wood grain and texture, and our use of hand-mixed stains, each piece will have its own unique character.
- We always do our best to match the shade as shown online, but the exact grain pattern and tone may vary — that’s the beauty of real wood.
For Marble & Quartz Surfaces:
- Our stone tops are carefully selected and cut by hand.
- Like all natural materials, marble and quartz can feature unique veining, mineral patterns, or subtle shade differences.
- These variations are natural and add to the timeless charm of your piece.
Celebrating the Beauty of Handcrafted Work: We believe furniture should feel personal — not factory-made. Thank you for celebrating the beauty of handcrafted work with us.
— With care and gratitude,
The Rural Art Team

Care Instructions

Care Instructions – Crafted to Last, Cared for with Love: At The Rural Art, we believe that caring for your furniture should feel as natural as the wood it's made from. Here's how to keep your piece looking beautiful for years to come — using gentle, eco-friendly methods.
Everyday Cleaning:
- Use a soft, dry cloth or microfiber cloth to gently dust your furniture.
- Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or sprays — they can damage the wood's natural finish and often come in plastic packaging that isn't eco-friendly.
- For a little extra shine, use a natural wood polish made with orange oil. Apply sparingly and buff with a dry cloth to refresh the surface and highlight the grain.
Wood-Specific Care Tips:
- Teak Wood:
  - Teak contains natural oils, but occasional treatment helps retain its golden tone.
  - Use teak oil every 6–12 months. Apply with a cloth, let it soak in, then buff off any excess.
  - Avoid placing in direct sunlight for long periods to prevent uneven fading.
- Indian Rosewood (Sheesham):
  - Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
  - Condition occasionally with linseed oil or orange oil.
  - Re-oil once or twice a year to prevent drying or dullness.
- Acacia Wood:
  - Clean regularly with a dry cloth.
  - Apply walnut oil or mineral oil a few times a year to maintain warmth.
  - Avoid soaking or letting spills sit to prevent water spots.
- Mango Wood:
  - Wipe clean regularly.
  - Condition with a light coat of orange oil or coconut oil to bring out its natural glow.
  - Avoid placing hot or wet items directly on the surface.
Drawer Channel Care:
- Dust inside drawer channels every few months.
- Apply a small amount of coconut oil or beeswax to keep the drawer movement smooth and silent.
Final Note: We design every piece to age gracefully, gaining more character over time. A little mindful care will go a long way in making your furniture a true heirloom.
Let us know if you'd like us to include a care card with your order — we're happy to personalize it based on the wood type!
